IT Notices: Planned downtime required on BMRS for infrastructure maintenance

There will be a period of planned downtime on the Balancing Mechanism Reporting System (BMRS) from 19:00 (BST) to 23:00 (BST) on Wednesday 3 August 2022. This is required for infrastructure maintenance.

How will I be impacted?

During the outage window, BMRS will not publish any data received from National Grid ESO (NGESO) or REMIT data from the Elexon Portal and users of the BMRS APIs, TIBCO and Data Push Service will not receive the latest data set.

Please note that you can continue to submit REMIT data via the Elexon Portal during this planned downtime, where the data will be accepted, queued and sent in sequence. However, publication of these files will be delayed by this planned downtime.

Is there anything else I need to know?

You do not need to take any specific action and we will perform system checks following completion of the work.
