Glossary Term: Annual Funding Share
Elexon calculate an Annual Funding Share by averaging each Party’s General Funding Share, including the latest month, on a rolling basis. This gives the Party’s rough share of all the payments made in the last year, compared to just the current month. The Annual Funding Share is also used to recover costs when a Party defaults on its Trading Charges as explained in Section N of the BSC.
