Glossary

The DIP Change and Advisory Board (DCAB) are a specialist user group whose purpose is to advise the DIP Manager in relation to the Data Integration Platform (DIP) and, in limited circumstances, make determinations.

The DCAB aims to further the sharing of applicable market data, further consumer interests, and facilitate competitive change and innovation through the efficient and economic delivery of the DIP.

DCAB in the Code

Chapter 2 of the DIP Supplement and DSD001 are currently going through the Authority Lead SCR Modification process (Modification P474) and will be implemented on 1 October 2024. These documents will set out the rules covering the constitution and governance of the DCAB, its objectives and powers.

DCAB’s role

The DCAB is a group of constituent representatives covering different DIP User types, industry experts, DIP stakeholders and consumer representatives. Its role is primarily to advise the DIP Manager, especially in areas where industry views should be considered.

The DCAB also assesses DIP Change Requests with a material impact to DIP Participants and votes on whether they should be approved or rejected.
