How can I remove someone’s authorisation?

To remove an Authorised Person the CRA must receive a BSCP38/5.1 Part A and D. These forms should be populated by a relevant Category A Authorised Person. If the person cancelled is the only category Signatory and you are not withdrawing from the BSC, please also submit a Directors Letter nominating a replacement Category A Signatory.  A template of the Directors Letter can be found here: BSCP38 Directors Letter Template (this should be on company letter headed paper).

In addition you will also need to submit BSCP38/5.1 Part A and C to appoint a new Category A Authorised Signatory. Each company requires at least one category A Authorised Person as they are the only person who can add or cancel authorisations on behalf of your company.

Please see BSCP38/5.1 for further information.
