Summary

At its meeting on 9 July, the BSC Panel raised Modification Proposal P239. Following a detailed review, Elexon has identified a number of manifest errors in the P217 ‘Revised Tagging Process and Calculation of Cash Out Prices’ Legal Text and BSC Section T.  P239 proposes to address these errors by amending Sections M, Q, T, T-1, V and X. In addition to correcting these minor manifest errors, P239 proposes to align the BSC description of the new Balancing Services Adjustment Data (BSAD) interface with the technical solution currently being developed for implementation in the November release. This is not a material change. The interface is from the Transmission Company to BSC Agents and has no impact on Parties or the calculation of system prices.

Progression

At its meeting on 13 August BSC Panel unanimously recommended that the Proposed Modification should be made. On 21 September 2009, the Authority approved P239. P239 was implemented as part of the November 2009 Release.
