Summary
P250 Alternative Modification would enable the Authority to instruct the BSC Panel to provide additional Implementation Dates where the Authority was unable to meet the original “decision by” dates. The Panel would consult with industry in order to construct the additional Implementation Dates.
Progression
National Grid raised P250 on 4 January 2010. At its meeting on 8 April the BSC Panel confirmed its recommendation the Proposed and the Alternative Modifications should not be made. The BSC Panel also agreed the Implementation date of 10 Working Days after an Authority decision, should the Authority approve P250. The Final Modification Report was sent to the Authority for Decision on 13 April 2010. On 19 May the Authority approved P250 Alternative and was implemented on 3 June 2010.
