Summary

The OFTO arrangements  introduced a new type of Grid Supply Point into the BSC; Offshore Transmission Connection Points. Currently, the BSC does not permit the application of Line Loss Factors to a Grid Supply Point. P270 proposed that a distinction should be made between Grid Supply Point types based on how they are interconnected with the Transmission System. It also proposed that Line Loss Factors should be applied to Grid Supply Points where appropriate.

Progression

Electricity North West Limited raised P270 on 25 February 2011. The BSC Panel considered the final Modification Report at its meeting on 14 July 2011 and made its final recommendations on P270.  On 31 October 2011 the Authority decided to reject P270.
