Summary

P292 seeks to enable the changes to Supplier and Non-Half Hourly Meter Operator Agent (NHHMOA) responsibilities for smart Meter Technical Details (MTD) proposed by the Department of Energy and Climate Change’s (DECC) Smart Metering Implementation Programme (SMIP).

P292 will enable the implementation of the detailed MTD requirements for smart Meters by providing the necessary ‘hook’ in the Code to enable the BSC and its Code Subsidiary Documents to align with DECC SMIP’s operating model.
