Summary

This Modification proposes changes to the BSC to allow National Grid to gain access to Supplier’ Metering System Metered Consumption (SMMCZaKj) data, which is provided by Half Hourly Data Collectors (HHDCs) to Half Hourly Data Aggregators (HHDAs). This data is required to support the validation of submitted tender data and to process the settlement of payments for the delivery of the new Demand Side Balancing Reserve (DSBR) service.

Progression

P299 was raised by National Grid on 31 January 2014. The BSC Panel considered the Initial Written Assessment at its meeting on 13 February 2014 and agreed to send P299 into a 2 month Assessment Procedure via a Workgroup.

The Workgroup issued its Assessment Consultation on 28 February 2014, with responses due back on 14 March 2014. The P299 Assessment Report was submitted to the Panel at its meeting on 10 April 2014. The Panel initially unanimously recommended that P299 be approved and issued it for Report Phase Consultation. The Panel made its final recommendation to approve P299 at its meeting on 8 May 2014.

P299 was approved by the Authority on 30 May 2014, for implementation on 13 June 2014 (10 Working Days following approval).
