P340 – Removal of References and Requirements Relating to the LCPD
Formal title: Removal of References and Requirements Relating to the LCPD
Current Status
Summary
Changes in legislation mean that references and reporting requirements in the BSC relating to the Large Combustion Plant Directive (LCPD) are obsolete. P340 removes from the BSC all references and requirements relating to Large Combustion Plants (LCPs), the LCPD, and the submission and subsequent processing of LCP Data. It also entirely removes BSCP33 ‘Large Combustion Plant Directive Data Submission’.
Progression
The Panel raised P340 on 12 May 2016 on the recommendation of Elexon. The Panel agreed to progress P340 directly to the Report Phase with an initial recommendation that it be approved as a Self Governance Modification.
The Panel considered the Draft Modification Report at its meeting on 9 June 2016 and approved P340 under Self-Governance for implementation on 7 July 2016, five Working Days following the Self-Governance appeal window closing. No appeals were notified, and so the Panel’s decision is final.
