This Modification proposes to remove the Generation Capacity (GC) and Demand Capacity (DC) tolerance limit parameters from Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC) Section K ‘Classification and Registration of Metering Systems and BM Units’. This will allow the tolerances to be reviewed and updated from time to time without the need for a Modification.

The Initial Written Assessment (IWA) was presented to the Panel at its meeting on 14 September 2017. The Panel agreed that P357 should proceed directly to the Report Phase, of which the Consultation closed on 13 October 2017. The BSC Panel approved P357 on 9 November 2017 and Ofgem approved P357 on 13 December 2017. P357 was implemented as part of the February 2018 BSC Release on 22 February 2018.
