Ofgem approved P375 on 24 February 2021 with an implementation date of 30 June 2022. The CSDs developed by the Industry Expert Group were circulated for industry review on 5 July 2021, with comments welcomed by 16 August 2021. The documents were amended per the comments received to this review and were presented to the Panel at its meeting on 9 September 2021, where they were unanimously approved.

Documents not circulated for review in July were issued for industry review on 8 September 2021, with comments welcomed by 22 September.  These documents will be presented to the ISG and the Panel at their meetings in October for approval.

The necessary changes to the Code Subsidiary Documents (CSDs) underpinning the P375 solution were developed in Q1 of 2021 by an Industry Expert Group (IEG) which focused on the necessary changes to CSDs to facilitate the ‘VLP Hub’ principle. Elexon is now finalising these CSDs before circulating for industry consultation in April.

The Report Phase Consultation was issued for one calendar month and the Modification Report was presented to the Panel at its meeting on 10 December 2020, where it unanimously recommended P375 for approval. The P375 Final Modification Report was sent to Ofgem for decision on 16 December 2020.

The P375 Assessment Phase consisted of eight Workgroups, the last of which was held on 19 August 2020.

The Panel considered the Initial Written Assessment for P375 on 13 December 2018, where it agreed to progress P375 to the Assessment Phase.
