P435 ‘Enabling EMRS to undertake preparatory work for potential future settlement services to LCCC’

P435 was implemented on Monday 25 April 2022, via a Special Release.

P435 was approved by Ofgem on 14 April 2022 for implementation on 25 April 2022.

The P435 Final Modification Report was submitted to Ofgem for a decision on 16 March 2022. 

Report Consultation

The P435 Report Phase Consultation was circulated on 15 February 2022, with responses welcomed by 1 March 2022.

The Report Phase Consultation has now closed. We did not receive any response from the Industry. P435 will be presented to the Panel at its next meeting on Thursday 10 March for decision (submit the final report to Ofgem for approval).

BSC Panel update

The P435 Report Phase Consultation was presented to the Panel at its meeting on Thursday 10 March 2022. The Panel unanimously approved the P435 Modification Report and agreed that the Modification should be submitted to Ofgem for decision. All other recommendations were approved.

P435 will be raised by Low Carbon Contracts Company via the Designation process as a non-BSC Party, subject to the Panel’s approval at their next meeting on 10 February 2022.

P435 was raised by LCCC on Thursday 10 February, following the Panel’s decision to designate LCCC as the Proposer.

The Panel agreed to progress P435 to Report Phase Consultation which will run from Tuesday 15 February to 5 pm on Monday 28 February.
