EL02703: ELEXON power outage: Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 September 2017 [109.3 Kb]
Issue Date: 11 September 2017
A planned power outage will take place between 7:00 (BST) Saturday 16 September and 19:00 (BST) Sunday 17 September 2017. This is an ELEXON IT systems outage and will not affect the BSC Central Systems.
During the outage, the networks will be intermittently unavailable; therefore, we will be unable to receive TIBCO messages, which are used for calculating the Balancing Mechanism (BM) Prices. As a result, the BM Prices for Settlement Days Saturday 16 September 2017 and Sunday 17 September 2017 may be less reliable than usual. This will not be corrected until we have data from the Interim Information (II) run for these two Settlement Days.

Issue Date: 6 September 2017
National Grid has informed us that they have been experiencing an issue affecting access to the MODIS (Market Operation Data Interface System).
This issue has prevented users from submitting ETR/REMIT data into MODIS via FTP and subsequently this data being sent to the BMRS for publication. In turn, this data is not being sent to the ENTSO-e Transparency Platform. Users are still able to submit ETR/REMIT data using the MODIS user interface.

In addition users of the TIBCO service will see a delay in the publishing of TIBCO messages via their High Grade Communications Lines. There will also be a delay in the data sent to ENTSO-E Transparency Platform from BMRS.
