EL02650: BSC Central Systems untargeted by worldwide cyber attack [104.0 Kb] Issue Date: 15 May 2017

Parties will be aware of the recent ransomware attack which has affected IT systems both in the UK and around the world.

We can confirm that the BSC Central Systems were not attacked and remain unaffected.

We will continue to work with our Service Provider to monitor the situation and to ensure that any appropriate measures are taken.

 

EL02649: Planned MIDP Outage on Friday 12 May 2017: impact on BMRS System Price Calculations [112.3 Kb] Issue Date: 9 May 2017

ELEXON has been advised by one of the Market Index Data Providers (MIDPs), EPEX SPOT power UK, of a planned outage due to take place on 12 May 2017 between 18:30 (BST) and 23:30 (BST).

This means the Market Index Data used to calculate the Market Index Price will not be provided to BSC Central Services by this MIDP for Settlement Periods 41-47 (inclusive).

EL02648: Settlement issue impacting GSP Group _H [107.8 Kb] Issue Date: 9 May 2017

A Settlement Error with an impact of approximately 168,500 MWh has been identified, impacting Grid Supply Point (GSP) Group _H (Southern) for Settlement Dates 3 November 2015 to 24 January 2017 inclusive.
The error in Settlement is subject to a Trading Dispute, DA833, raised on 27 April 2017, which ELEXON will present  to the Trading Disputes Committee (TDC) on 1 June 2017 to determine a rectification of the impacted Settlement Days.

EL02647: Delay in the BMRS displaying data: Resolved [106.3 Kb] Issue Date: 8 May 2017

Between 16:15 (BST) and 16:33 (BST) today, 8 May 2017, the Balancing Mechanism Reporting Service (BMRS) website experienced a brief issue which affected its ability to display new data.

EL02646: Resolved: Delay in issuing Combined Advice Notes for Payment Date 8 May 2017 [139.2 Kb] Issue Date: 4 May 2017

The Funds Administration Agent (FAA) has advised that the issue that had prevented the creation of Combined Advice Notes, affecting Payment Date 8 May 2017, has now been resolved.

The creation of Combined Advice Notes will continue from Payment Date 9 May 2017 as expected.

EL02645: Delay in issuing Combined Advice Notes for Payment Date 8 May 2017 [270.4 Kb] Issue Date: 3 May 2017

The Funds Administration Agent (FAA) has advised that there is an issue that is preventing the Combined Advice Notes for Payment Date 8 May 2017 that are due to be notified today from being sent to Trading Parties.

EL02644: ELEXON IT system outage between 18:00 and 20:00 on Tuesday 25 April 2017 [109.0 Kb] Issue Date: 24 April 2017

Urgent IT system maintenance will take place between 18.00 and 20:00 on Tuesday 25 April 2017.

This is an ELEXON IT systems outage and will not affect the BSC Central Systems.

EL02643: Planned ELEXON Portal outage on Wednesday 26 April 2017 [107.8 Kb] Issue Date: 24 April 2017

There will be a planned ELEXON Portal outage between 17:00 (BST) and 19:00 (BST) on Wednesday 26 April 2017.

Parties will experience intermittent issues accessing the ELEXON Portal during this time; in addition, any REMIT data, which is submitted through the ELEXON Portal, may not be published by the BMRS website (www.bmreports.com) until after the outage.

EL02642: Resolved: Missing National Grid ‘2 – 14 Day Ahead’ forecast data [107.9 Kb] Issue Date: 13 April 2017

We have now received the ‘2 – 14 Day Ahead’ forecast data for 11 April 2017 from National Grid and this data has now been published on the Balancing Mechanism Reporting Service.

EL02641: Missing National Grid ‘2 – 14 Day Ahead’ forecast data [122.5 Kb] Issue Date: 13 April 2017

We have not received the latest 2 – 14 Day Ahead forecast data for 11 April 2017 from National Grid, therefore this data has not been published on the Balancing Mechanism Reporting Service.

We are in contact with National Grid in order to resolve this issue and we will publish a further circular when the data is available.
