Responses to consultation on skeleton Target Operating Models published

One of the key outputs of Ofgem’s Significant Code Review on Electricity Settlement Reform is the development of a Target Operating Model (TOM) for Market-wide Half Hourly Settlement.

The ELEXON-led Design Working Group (DWG) recently consulted on five ‘skeleton’ (high-level) TOM options, which the DWG developed and Ofgem approved under the first stage of the TOM design work.

We’ve now published the collated responses, grouped by consultation question, on the Design Working Group page of our website. We received nineteen responses and would like to thank everyone who provided their views.

The DWG met on 13 June 2018 to discuss the responses and we will publish the meeting notes shortly. We will also be contacting respondents to confirm the next steps.

The responses will feed into stage two of the DWG’s work, where it will develop the detailed design.
