Glossary Term: Balancing Mechanism Reporting Agent
Acronym: BMRA
The Balancing Mechanism Reporting Agent (BMRA) will be required to publish information within the timescales specified in this document so as to present a near to real-time representation of the electricity markets and the Balancing Mechanism.
The Balancing Mechanism Reporting Service (BMRS) means the service provided by the BMRA as described in Section V. It collects and publishes information about the electricity system in Great Britain. Balancing Mechanism and System Related Information is sourced from the System Operator (National Grid), and Registration Information from the Central Registration Agent.
