I am Head of Participant Management Product team at Elexon and am accountable for both operational delivery and continuing development of the Customer Solution platform that enables customers to manage their accounts and assets online.

Role at Elexon

I became Head of the Participant Management Product in June 2020 after being the Settlement Operations and Meter Manager. My role as Head Participant Management I am accountable for both operational delivery and envisioning the future of the digital product, working with product teams, users, stakeholders, and development teams to realise it.

This includes the delivery of Products and the matrix management of Product supporting capabilities. Ensuring that the Product meets the obligations and requirements in the codes/ contracts it delivers against and that there is consistency in ELEXON’s operations across codes.

Experience at Elexon

I joined Elexon in December 2011 as Service Delivery Manager, within the Service Management Team, moving into the operational department in March 2013.

In April 2013, I moved into the role of Settlement Operations Manager, then in 2016 my responsibilities expanded to include managing the Metering Team, supporting the Supplier Volume Allocation (SVA), Central Volume Allocation (CVA) and Electricity Market Reform (EMR) metering, all under one team.

I have also held chair roles on both the Performance Assurance Board (PAB) and Imbalance Settlement Group (ISG)

Experience within the industry

Prior to joining Elexon, I spent many years working at a large BSC Party Agent where I held a number of roles from Non Half Hourly Operations Analyst, Non Half Hourly Team Leader, Customer Experience Manager to Business Transformation Manager developing my experience of the Half Hourly and Non Half Hourly markets.
