I am the Product Owner for the Participant Management Product and oversee the requirements and delivery of the solution to meet our customer needs.
Role within Elexon
As Product Owner of the Participant Management Product we have delivered the Kinnect Customer Solution which is a complete and streamlined customer experience around a range of BSC activities. The service enables customers to undertake the Market Entry process and manage their company details.
Experience at Elexon
I joined Elexon in December 2011, as a Service Delivery Manager, managing both the Technical Assurance Agent (TAA) and the BSC Auditor Contracts.
In April 2013, I moved into the role of Settlement Operations Manager, then in 2016 my responsibilities expanded to include managing the Metering Team, supporting the Supplier Volume Allocation (SVA), Central Volume Allocation (CVA) and Electricity Market Reform (EMR) metering, all under one team.
Since joining Elexon in addition to my role I have become the vice chair for two committees, the Performance Assurance Board (PAB) and the Imbalance Settlement Group (ISG), which at times have been both challenging and rewarding.
Experience within the industry
Prior to joining Elexon, I spent many years working at a large BSC Party Agent where I held a number of roles from Non Half Hourly Operations Analyst, Non Half Hourly Team Leader, Customer Experience Manager to Business Transformation Manager developing my experience of the Half Hourly and Non Half Hourly markets.
