Request for information from Suppliers
The Unmetered Supplies User Group (UMSUG) are requesting information from Suppliers to declare whether they will take on new Non Half Hourly (NHH) Unmetered Supplies (UMS).
UMSUG are interested in knowing if you are willing or unwilling to take on new Non Half Hourly Unmetered Supplies.
Background to this request
The reason for this request is that UMS customers are finding it difficult to find a Supplier that will register Non Half Hourly (NHH) Unmetered Supplies (UMS) MPANs. Elexon would therefore like to advise customers about Suppliers that are willing, or equally unwilling to take on NHH UMS.
While it is a commercial decision whether a Supplier does offer a supply to a non-domestic customer, Elexon think it would be helpful for Suppliers to advise us whether they will take on these customers or not.
If Suppliers wish to make this information public, and there is no confidentiality issue, we can publish this on the UMS page on the Elexon BSC website.
