Unmetered Supplies User Group (UMSUG)
The UMSUG is an impartial expert advisory group to the Supplier Volume Allocation Group (SVG) on matters relating to the BSC’s Unmetered Supplies (UMS) arrangements.
Its areas of consideration include the operation of UMS within Settlement as described by BSCP520 ‘Unmetered Supplies Registered in SMRS’, the Unmetered Supplies Operational Information Document (OID) (including Charge Codes) and any other UMS issues as directed by the SVG. The UMSUG has no decision-making powers but makes recommendations to the SVG.
The UMSUG meets as required by the level of business and subject to the SVG’s approval.
For more details, see the UMSUG Terms of Reference to the right of this webpage.

Remote meetings due to COVID-19
We have decided that we will not be re-opening the Elexon office to external visitors, save in exceptional circumstances, until at least the beginning of 2021 and we will therefore continue to hold all meetings, committees and workgroups virtually. This was decided after viewing the feedback and results from an internal and external survey.
To recognise this prolonged change to our working arrangements, we have created a set of principles to be followed when holding online meetings. These principles will be highlighted at the beginning of each meeting to hopefully improve your virtual meeting experience.
