BSC Change Forum

Glossary

The BSC Change Forum (CF) is a bi-monthly meeting to discuss upcoming BSC changes with interested industry parties. This was identified and recommended under Issue 102 ‘BSC Change Process Review’ to promote awareness of upcoming changes and get a better understanding of industry’s needs and available resources.

Contact information

The Change team can provide guidance and advice on any questions relating to matters you may want to raise.

Purpose of the BSC Change Forum

The CF brings an opportunity for any interested parties to discuss forthcoming BSC Change Proposals, Issues and Modifications, allowing market participants to gather early insights when assessing these changes.

It is also a space for participants to bring issues or ideas, receiving feedback before starting a formal change process.

Please note that the CF has no decision-making role and is not part of any formal Workgroup. However, feedback received will be considered and taken in to account when finalising any upcoming changes.

Who can participate

Everyone is welcome to participate in the meetings and to propose agenda items.

The meetings are run by an Elexon Change Analyst and a member of the Market Design team.

Getting involved

If you would like to take part in the Forum please complete the sign up form.

The CF will be held on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 10am to 11am, every other month.  Reminders will be sent out two weeks before the meeting. The agenda will be published one week beforehand. Any content presented will also be published. As this is not a formal meeting, no minutes or actions will be published, but we will track actions on this website.

If you would like to add an item to the CF’s agenda, please email [email protected] at least 5 working days in advance of the meeting date with details of what you would like to discuss.
