Why are there file sequence numbers missing for my SAA-I014 reports?
The SAA-I014 files are released daily to customers and a sequence number is assigned to each file. Some customers have been in contact with us regarding missing file sequence numbers, since the go-live of the new Settlement Administration Agent (SAA) service on Elexon Kinnect, our cloud platform.
A feature of the new SAA is that it can withhold a file that fails quality control, which also uses up the sequence number. Such files are now re-run with a new sequence number.
We are aware that some customers use the sequence number for file loading procedures and data quality controls. We are working on a change to resolve this and will update affected Parties once this work is complete.
