Summary

This Change Proposal seeks to amend BSCP70 to remove the statement excluding  Interconnector Administrator (IA) and Interconnector Error Administrator (IEA) roles from the requirement to undergo CVA Qualification Testing.

Under the BSC, IAs and IEAs require communication with BSC Central Systems. By requiring them to undergo CVA Qualification Testing the risk to accurate Settlement (whereby the IA or IEA does not submit, or submits inaccurate, BM Unit Metered Volume data) will be diminished, particularly as the number of Interconnectors going live continues to increase. BSCP70 should also be amended to include the data flows relevant to IEAs and IAs for CVA Qualification Testing.
