CP1595 Correcting the D0148 flow in BSCP520 – CP1590 fix

Elexon (as the Proposer),  withdrew CP1595 on 9 May 2024 after. Since no interested parties came forward during the 5WD adoption window, CP1595 was officially withdrawn on Thursday 16 May 2024.

CP1595 proposed removing D0148 from 3.1.12 in BSCP520: Unmetered Supplies Registered in SMRS. Changes made by CP1590 ‘Enabling use of DTN agent appointments process for P434’ to BSCP520 ‘Unmetered Supplies Registered in SMRS’ which went ‘live’ within the BSC in February 2024 reference relevant appointment flows, however, 3.1.12 unnecessarily references a D0148 – ‘Notification of Change’ to other parties. CP1595 aimed to remove D0148 from 3.1.12 in BSCP520: Unmetered Supplies Registered in SMRS.

The purpose of this proposal was to remove ambiguity for Suppliers who may be considering the use of Data Transfer Network (DTN) derived Dataflows ahead of the mandated go live date specified in P434 ‘Half Hourly Settlement for UMS Metering Systems’

Note that the usage of the DTN D-flows as prescribed in BSCP520 are optional as per CP1590 ‘Enabling use of DTN agent appointments process for P434’. Reference to the D0148 flow in step 3.1.12 is applicable to those parties sharing information via the “other agreed method” rather than the Data Transfer Network
