Consultation on MHHS Qualification Assessment Document

The Qualification Assessment Document (QAD) sets out the information and evidence that all Suppliers, Supplier Agents, MEMs, and LDSOs are required to provide to BSC and REC Code Bodies so that they can be MHHS Qualified to operate the new arrangements.

Who will this impact?

This consultation will be of interest to all SIT and Non-SIT participants that are planning to Qualify in the MHHS arrangements.

What is proposed?

The QAD has been developed through discussions with the Qualification Working Group and is now being provided to industry for consultation.

Please see further details on the MHHS QAD Consultation.

How to respond

The QAD Consultation window will close on 1 March.

Please submit the Consultation Responses to [email protected] and [email protected]

Next steps

Following consultation, the QAD will be presented to the MHHS Programme Qualification Advisory Group before going to the REC and BSC Performance Assurance Boards for approval at end March 2024 and then published to participants.

To support efficient review of information and evidence from parties, there will be two formal QAD submission stages and the timeframes for submission are set out in MHHS QA&P v1.1 Appendix C, which is subject to consultation.

This is an initial consultation for the QAD, there will be further consultations to cover Migration, Non-Functional, and Operational requirements that will be published later this year.

Please note that Code Bodies will provide further guidance on the Evaluation Criteria for each section as part of the post consultation update to the QAD.

Although we have provided a Word version of the QAD for the purposes of this consultation, the format of the QAD submission is also likely to change to an electronic version which we will demonstrate at the appropriate QWG meeting.
