How does a change of CAP affect me?

A change in CAP affects the first five working days of the Credit Cover Percentage (CCP) calculation, known as Credit Assessment Energy Indebtedness (CEI). The CEI is calculated in MWh and the CAP is used to convert this into £. The CEI can be positive or negative depending on how the Party has bought/sold energy and what has been produced/consumed. Therefore the change in CAP can increase CCP  for some Parties and decrease  for others. You can view your daily CEI on the Elexon Portal.
