Issue 81: meeting 2

In the National Grid Electricity System Operator’s ( NGESO) Cost Benefit Analysis on P297, NGESO received feedback that there may be an opportunity to identify consumer benefits in publishing Run-up/Run-down rates and Last Time to Cancel Synchronisation (LTCS) on the BMRS.

Since the first Issue 81 meeting, which was held on Monday 4 November 2019, Elexon and National Grid ESO have carried out further analysis to present to the second Issue 81 meeting which will be held on Tuesday 14 January 2020 at Elexon’s offices.

BSC Issue 81 will engage with stakeholders to confirm whether there would be any operational/consumer benefits in publishing the aforementioned information on the BMRS.
