I am a Risk & Technique Analyst in the Performance Assurance team at Elexon. We monitor the compliance of all BSC parties and to run Performance Assurance activities.

Role at Elexon

There are a number of techniques that Elexon uses to confirm compliance or identify issues that may need to be addressed. My role is to oversee part of the risk techniques process and report on how these impact our customers.

Each year, the BSC Panel and the PAB identify, evaluate and prioritise the risks that may occur within Settlement and the extent to which they apply to each Performance Assurance Parties (PAPs). Elexon conform to an agreed process assess each PAP based on the Settlement Risks that they may pose and this process includes the timetable, the methodology and the various reports.

I joined the Disputes and Compliance team as a Technical Analyst in 2013 and am responsible for the delivery of the Technical Assurance of Metering (TAM) technique.
