Mark Oxby
Mark is an Industry Panel Member on the BSC Panel and also sits on the Imbalance Settlement Group (ISG). He joined the energy industry in 1982 and has built up wide-ranging operational and management experience within wholesale electricity trading and settlements, over the last 40 years.
In 2011 Mark joined Statkraft Markets GmbH, in Düsseldorf Germany. He brought an extensive knowledge of the UK power market, transmission infrastructure and ancillary services to the newly formed team. He works as a Senior member of the UK Dispatch Team which manages a complex renewable generation portfolio. Mark’s responsibilities include Account Management for Interconnectors and the EPEX Exchange, Credit Assessment, GTMA’s and the development of GB wholesale electricity trading arrangements.
