CP0540 – Adequate ECVAA Delay Functionality
Formal title: Adequate ECVAA Delay Functionality
Current Status
Summary
The ECVAA Credit Checking delay functionality should be amended to reflect the enduring requirements of the Balancing and Settlement Code Section M 3. 3. 5 and 3. 3. 6 (b). This CP has been raised from NCR342 The BSC defines the Credit Default Refusal Periods and Credit Default Rejection Periods as not commencing until Credit Checking for the associated Settlement Periods has completed where there is a delay to the ECVAA Credit Checking processing. Therefore this requirement should be reflected in ECVAA functionality.
The ECVAA delay handling process is currently not operating in accordance with the enduring process as defined in the Balancing and Settlement Code Section M 3. 3. 5 and 3. 3. 6 (b) due to the Suspension Period (BSC Section E). The current operation is defined in BSC Section M 3. 3. 8 and is required to be superseded by enduring functionality under BSC Section E.
