Summary
In order to meet its obligations under the BSC, Elexon manages contracts with service providers for the development, maintenance and operation of Supplier Volume Allocation Hardware and Software systems. Re-procurement of the development and maintenance of these systems was completed in December 2003 with the award of a 3-year contract for the Supplier Volume Allocation Software Service (SVASS). However, the contract for the operation of the SVAA systems expires in March 2005, necessitating a re-procurement of this service, which shall be known as Supplier Volume Allocation Operations (SVAO).
