Summary
The UMSO is unable to send data electronically via the Data Transfer Network as it is not a user. The UMSO therefore has to rely on manual processes to submit its D0052 data, which includes UMS EAC values for use in Settlement.
An issue raised by the BSC Auditor was that many UMS EACs were not being used in Settlement and the inability of the UMSO to send D0052 data electronically has been identified as a contributing factor to this issue.
