The Technical Assurance of half hourly Metering Systems is designed to detect and correct error in the Meter set up and with the associated paperwork (Meter Technical Details etc.).
Elexon have completed a service review of the Technical Assurance of Metering and identified some changes to be made to the process steps in BSCP27.

CP1379 was raised and issued for industry impact assessment via CPC00716 on 3 August 2012, with responses due back on 30 August.
CP1379 was presented to the ISG on the 26 October 2012 (meeting rescheduled from 23 October 2012), where the ISG approved CP1379 for implementation, with a go live date of 29 March 2013.
CP1379 was presented to the SVG on 30 October 2012, where the SVG approved CP1379 for implementation, with a go live date of 29 March 2013.
CP1379 was implemented on 29 March 2013.
