CP1570 ‘Housekeeping amendments to include reference to ‘Asset Metering Virtual Lead Party’’
Formal title: Housekeeping amendments to BSCP65 and BSCP70 to include reference to ‘Asset Metering Virtual Lead Party'
CP1570 is a Housekeeping change seeking to correct minor errors identified during the preparation for implementation of Approved Modification P375 ‘Settlement of Secondary Balancing Mechanism (BM) Units using metering behind the site Boundary Point’ as part of the June 2022 BSC Release.
Elexon identified that we had not included Balancing and Settlement Code Procedure (BSCP) 65 ‘Registration of Parties and Exit Procedures’ or BSCP70 ‘Central Volume Allocation (CVA) Qualification Testing for Parties and Party Agents’ in the suite of Configurable Items (CIs) that required amendment.
Both BSCP65 and BSCP70 are therefore missing references to ‘Asset Metering Virtual Lead Party’ and ‘AMVLP’ which should have been included to clarify that AMVLPs are subject to the applicable obligations set out in each BSCP.
The proposed solution is to amend BSCP65 and BSCP70 to include references to ‘Asset Metering Virtual Lead Party’ and ‘AMVLP’ alongside references to ‘Virtual Lead Party’ and ‘VLP’.
