Consultation for Allocation of a New Grid Supply Point (GSP) to a GSP Group – February 2021
As part of a 132kV Switchgear change at Barking Central Substation, the National Electricity Transmission System Operator (NETSO) and the affected Licensed Distribution System Operator (LDSO) (UK Power Networks) are taking the opportunity to regularise the connection arrangement where supplies to two LDSO Networks (UK Power Networks (Eastern Power Networks) (EASTELEC) and UK Power Networks (London Power Networks) (LPN)) are currently the subject of a difference metering scheme.
This involves the registration of two ‘new’ GSPs to be known as BARKR_A for EASTELEC, and BARKR_C for LPN, and the eventual de-registration of the existing Grid Supply Point (GSP) BARKC1 registered to LPN and the Distribution System Connection Point (DSCP) BARKC_A registered to EASTELEC.
If you have any views on the allocation of the GSPs as described above, please respond using the consultation response form, and send to the BM unit team by 17:00 on 1 March 2021.
BSC Sandbox Consultation BSB001: application by Emergent Energy – 12 February 2021
Elexon has issued a public industry consultation for BSC Parties and interested Third Parties to seek views on the impacts on Parties relating to the implementation of a BSC Sandbox Application by Emergent Energy.
Emergent Energy are seeking a derogation to enable a trial of on-site aggregation at Private Wire Networks where domestic customers are Supplied by Third Party Suppliers. The derogation will allow Emergent Energy to submit aggregated customer readings in lieu of the sites’ boundary meter readings, eliminating double counting of energy supplied to customers with Third Party Suppliers.
Credit Assessment Price (CAP) consultation: 18 January 2021
We invite Parties to indicate whether they agree with the proposal to increase the value of CAP to £64/MWh from last notified value of £62/MWh.
Credit Assessment Price (CAP) consultation: 21 December 2020
We invite Parties to indicate whether they agree with the proposal to increase the value of CAP to £60/MWh from last notified value of £56/MWh.
As the trigger level is set at 10% of the CAP value, rounded to the nearest whole pound, this would remain at +/-£6/MWh.
