Recommendations of the Unmetered Supplies Expert Group
As part of their 2006 report the Auditor identified a number of ‘Market Issues’ relating to Unmetered Supplies. On Elexon’s recommendation the SVG agreed that an expert group (UMSEG) should be set up to address these Market Issues. DCP0029 sets out the solutions proposed by the UMSEG, and has been issued for Impact Assessment to obtain input from the Industry.
Progression
Following industry impact assessment, DCP0029 was presented to the SVG on 5 August 2008 for decision on progression. For the issues that required changes to the current arrangements, the SVG determined that Elexon should raise three CPs (CP1256, CP1257 and CP1258), one DCP and a change to the MRA Data Transfer Catalogue (DTC).
