P427: Publication of Performance Assurance Parties’ impact on Settlement Risk

P427 was implemented on 23 February 2023 as part of the standard February 2023 release.

P427 was approved by Ofgem on 28 November 2022, for implementation on 23 February 2023 as part of the standard February 2023 release.

P427 was submitted to the Authority for decision on 14 September 2022 with a recommendation to approve.

The P427 Report Phase Consultation was issued on 18 July 2022, with responses due 18 August 2022. We received six formal responses. Two responses were in favour of the solution.

The Draft Modification Report was presented to the Panel at its meeting on 8 September 2022. The Panel approved P427 by majority to be sent to Ofgem for decision.

The first Workgroup meeting was held on 19 January 2022 and the meeting documents can be found on the P427 Workgroup 1 webpage.

The second Workgroup meeting  was held on 1 March 2022 and the meeting documents can be found on the P427 Workgroup 2 webpage.

The third Workgroup meeting  was held on 20 April 2022 and the meeting documents can be found on the P427 Workgroup 3 webpage.

The fourth Workgroup meeting  was held on 10 May 2022 and the meeting documents can be found on the P427 Workgroup 4 webpage.

The P427 Assessment Procedure Consultation (APC) was issued to industry on 20 May 2022 and will close on 10 June 2022.

The fifth Workgroup meeting  was held on 16 June 2022 and the meeting documents can be found on the P427 Workgroup 5 webpage.

The BSC Panel raised P427 following its meeting on 14 October 2021.
