P468 ‘Enabling Elexon to support the (currently in draft) Electricity Support Payments and Levy Regulations 2024’

P468 was implemented on 12 April 2024 as part of a Special BSC Release.

Ofgem approved P468 on 5 April 2024 for implementation 5 Working Days after authority decision as part of a special BSC release.

The P468 Report Phase Consultation was issued on 12 February 2024 with responses due 26 February 2024. 1 response was received to the consultation. The respondent agreed with the P468 solution.

The BSC Panel considered the Draft Modification Report at its meeting on 14 March 2024.

The Panel unanimously:

• agreed that P468 should not be treated as a Self-Governance Modification;
• agreed that P468 does not impact the EBGL Article 18 Terms and Conditions;
• approved the Implementation Date;
• approved the Legal Text; and
• approved that P468 report.

At its meeting on Thursday 8 February, the BSC Panel:

• Designated the Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) as the Proposer for P468 and
• Agreed that P468 should be progressed directly to the Report Phase Consultation.

As a result of the Panel’s decision, P435 was raised by LCCC on Thursday 8 February 2024.
