Manifest Error Claim ME045 and ME046 – Settlement Day 4 February 2024
In accordance with Section Q7 of the Balancing & Settlement Code (BSC), the National Electricity Transmission System Operator (NETSO) has raised two Manifest Error claims. The claims relate to Settlement Period 41 of Settlement 4 February 2024.
On 20 February 2024 the Trading Disputes Committee (TDC) heard the claims and determined, in accordance with Q 7.1.1 of the BSC, that Manifest Errors had occurred.
Enhancing our customer enquiry processes using Elexon Support
In our recent customer feedback survey, a number of customers expressed the need for a more efficient and streamlined process to submit and track enquiries and concerns related to the BSC and its services.
We’ve taken this feedback on board and have been working on an enquiry management tool called Elexon Support. Elexon Support will provide you with a centralised platform to easily manage your interactions with us.

We have a number of vacancies available for Industry Members on the Trading Disputes Committee (TDC). Join the TDC and help us examine Trading Disputes, participate in the Modification process and decide on Manifest Error claims.
We’re reviewing the Trading Disputes Technique
We are looking to carry out a comprehensive assessment of the current Trading Disputes processes. The review will recommend any changes and improvements that can be made to the Trading Disputes technique, both in regards to short-term and long-term changes.
