Risk Evaluation Register 2020/21 – consultation period

We are proposing a revised Risk Evaluation Register (RER) in line with Performance Assurance Framework Review. It also explains the annual process of review whereby existing risks are amended and/or new risks included. 

The RER outlines a new approach to evaluating risk following our newly approved Risk Evaluation Methodology, which identifies and evaluates Settlement Risks. 

The Performance Assurance Board (PAB) endorses the Risk Evaluation Register (RER) 2020/21 for industry consultation.

Consultation

We invite you to respond to the consultation, which sets out the Settlement Risks identified for 2020/21. This new format risk register is designed to be more concise, informative and effective.

All the background documents, including the questionnaire can be found on the Risk Evaluation Register consultation page. The deadline for responses is Friday 20 March 2020.

The received consultation responses will be presented to the Performance Assurance Board on Thursday 27 March 2020. At this meeting, the PAB, with delegated authority from the BSC Panel, will approve the RER 2020/21 (subject to any changes it deems necessary).
